Trial and unactivated use

A three-day trial unlocks all features, including automation, once per Mac user account. Unactivated exports include a visible watermark during and after the trial. After the trial expires, manual watermarked PDF exports remain available; automation and clean output require an active paid licence.

Grant of licence

On purchase you are granted a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide licence to install and use FastImpose on the number of machines stated for your tier — two for the lifetime licence, five for lifetime plus updates. The licence is granted to one individual or one organisation.

The licence does not expire. It does not require a network connection, a periodic check-in, or an active account to remain valid.

Permitted use

  • Commercial production work, including work billed to clients.
  • Installation on both macOS and Windows within your machine allowance.
  • Moving an installation to a replacement machine. On the lifetime plus updates tier the licence is transferable between machines without limit.

Restrictions

  • Redistributing, reselling or sublicensing the software.
  • Sharing licence details outside the licensed individual or organisation.
  • Reverse engineering, except where that right cannot lawfully be excluded.
  • Removing or altering licensing or attribution notices.

Updates

The lifetime licence includes updates within the 1.x series for as long as 1.x is supported. The lifetime plus updates tier additionally includes future major versions. Neither tier can be disabled by declining an update, and an installed version continues to work indefinitely.

Warranty and liability

FastImpose is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. Imposition affects physical production: you are responsible for proofing output before committing a print run. Liability is limited to the amount paid for the licence, except where such limitation is not permitted by law.

This does not affect statutory rights that cannot be excluded, including consumer rights in your jurisdiction.
